It was late 2015 when the cool winter breeze filled the bustling city. While chilling out with Garrett Oliver, the legendary New York brewmaster, we discerned an opportunity.

The collaboration was injected with more excitement day by day. Inspired by the sights, smells and tastes that fuel our city's wet markets and hawker centers, we started experimenting. After nearly a year of innovation and collective effort with the local community, we created our craft beer – brewed in Hong Kong, brewed for Hong Kong.

We named our brand of craft beer 'YAU', expressing the spirit of friendship and community in the authentic Hong Kong culture. YAU is proudly local and truly connected with the soul of Hong Kong.

We then named our three craft beer favours. In bringing the YAU value to life, we also collaborated with the local design trio BrainRental Lab for packaging design. This is just the start of our commitment to supporting local creatives.

YAU is about a shared passion. Together with YAU, all members of the community can dream big, and achieve bigger!

'YAU' proudly represents the Hong Kong spirit of friendship and community, brewing three craft beer favours with local ingredients. We also collaborated with the local design trio BrainRental Lab for packaging design, creatively showcasing Hong Kong's unique culture. We will continue our commitment to supporting local creatives. Together with YAU, let us dream big, and achieve bigger!
